Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted (can use salted)
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F. Spray a baking sheet or 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a bowl add the melted butter, honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix until combined. Set aside.
  • To the baking dish, add the croissant bottoms. Top with a layer of ham, then cheese slices, and finally add the tops.
  • Brush the melted butter mixture generously on the tops of the croissants. Reserve about a Tablespoon of the mixture for after baking.
  • Bake uncovered for about 15 minutes.
  • Baste the leftover butter sauce on top and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
