- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted (can use salted)
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices ham
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds optional
Preheat the oven to 375° F. Spray a baking sheet or 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a bowl add the melted butter, honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix until combined. Set aside.
To the baking dish, add the croissant bottoms. Top with a layer of ham, then cheese slices, and finally add the tops.
Brush the melted butter mixture generously on the tops of the croissants. Reserve about a Tablespoon of the mixture for after baking.
Bake uncovered for about 15 minutes.
Baste the leftover butter sauce on top and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
