Ingredients
  

Chicken and Noodles

  • 1 whole chicken cooked, deboned and shredded
  • 6 ounces spaghetti or egg noodles
  • 1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ cup water
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until it is al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place shredded chicken, cooked spaghetti, condensed soups, water, salt, and pepper in a 9x13-inch baking dish; stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top of mixture and bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and golden brown on top, about 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

You can also use 2 pounds of chicken breast meat instead of a whole chicken. Cook chicken ahead of time and freeze it for quicker preparation.
