Preparation

  • Prepare the Brussels sprouts: Trim the stems and cut them in half.
  • In a large bowl, mix the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and honey or maple syrup if using to create a smooth glaze.
  • Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in the glaze until well coated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the sprouts in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden-brown and tender.
  • Let the Brussels sprouts cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

If you have leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, spread them on a baking sheet and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
