Ingredients
  

For the chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 ½ teaspoon ginger freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

For the sauce

  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Preparation

  • While your air fryer preheats to 400°F, prepare two flavor components. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, freshly grated ginger, and toasted sesame oil to create the marinade base. In another bowl, combine the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha, then stir in the fresh lime juice to create the bang bang sauce. Set the bang bang sauce aside—you'll use part of it for brushing during cooking and reserve the remainder for finishing.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the garlic powder and paprika over the chicken, then pour the marinade base from Step 1 over the seasoned chicken and toss until all pieces are evenly coated. Let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto metal or wooden skewers, leaving a tiny gap between each piece for air circulation. Arrange the skewers on your air fryer basket in a single layer without crowding. Brush the chicken generously with some of the bang bang sauce, reserving most of the remaining sauce for later finishing.
  • Air fry the skewers at 400°F for 6 minutes. Carefully remove the basket and flip each skewer, then brush the cooked side with another layer of the bang bang sauce. Return to the air fryer and cook for another 6 minutes until the chicken is golden, cooked through, and the sauce has caramelized slightly.
  • Transfer the cooked skewers to a serving platter and drizzle generously with the reserved bang bang sauce. Serve immediately while the skewers are still hot.
