Ingredients
  

Winter Fruit Salad

  • 10 pieces Cuties mandarin oranges peeled and segmented
  • 4 large fuji apples cored and diced
  • 2 pomegranates arils removed

Cinnamon Vanilla Dressing

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 vanilla bean split down the middle and seeds scraped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small sauce pot, combine all of the ingredients for the Cinnamon Vanilla dressing. Stirring regularly, bring the mixture to a simmer then turn off the heat and let the dressing cool to room temperature. About 1 hour.
  • In a bowl, combine the Cuties, diced apple, and pomegranate arils. Stir the cooled cinnamon vanilla dressing a little, then pour desired amount on top of the fruit salad. Toss until the fruit salad is evenly coated. Serve.

Notes

If you don't have a vanilla bean, one tablespoon of vanilla bean paste or pure vanilla extract will work.
